Research
In an ever-evolving educational landscape, it is vital to delve into the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities that shape our classrooms and learning communities. The following research strands represent my dedicated exploration of critical areas of education. By understanding these facets and enhancing research-practice partnerships, I hope to foster resilience and mitigate risk for school members, provide robust support systems, and guide effective practice and policy implementation for a better tomorrow in education.
Risk and Resilience Factors for School Communities
Guided by the risk and resilience theory and ecological systems models, I am interested in examining individual and contextual factors influencing school communities and their members. I have conducted network analysis, structural equation modeling, multiple regression, and qualitative analysis to identify teachers' risk and resilience factors during the pandemic and recovery.
I am interested in delving deeper into support systems for teachers and administrators informed by the social capital theory and buffering effect model. Although research has underscored the significance of social and professional support, challenges remain for stakeholders due to the absence of standardized definitions, unified concepts, and multidimensional metrics.

School-Wide Practice Implementations
I am interested in exploring the development and implementation of social-emotional learning (SEL) programs within school-wide practices. My focus is on understanding how these programs can be effectively integrated into educational settings to enhance both teacher and student outcomes. I aim to investigate the factors that contribute to successful SEL program implementation and the impact these practices have on the broader school community.
Past Research Experiences Across Various Disciplines
My past research experiences across multiple disciplines have prepared me to be an interdisciplinary researcher able to conduct research proactively and independently.
